  7. IMPORTANT:
  8.  
  9.   Your MS Windows must be installed with a graphics card and display driver
  10. capable of displaying 256 colors on a computer with an Intel 386 or better
  11. processor (486, PENTIUM). Without this, Mesmerize will not operate
  12. correctly.

  14. CONFIGURING MESMERIZE
  15.  
  16.   To configure the screen saver after it has been installed, open the Control
  17. Panel and open 'Desktop'. In the screen savers area, select 'Mesmerize' in
  18. the list of screen savers. If you don't see it, it hasn't been installed
  19. properly. Once it has been selected in the list, push the 'Setup' button. 
  20. Here is an explanation of the settings:

  22.  Number of Centers - Controls how twisted the lines are. The more centers, the
  23.                      more twisted.
  24.  Line Thickness    - Controls the size of the lines as they travel across the
  25.                      screen.
  26.  Dot size          - Adjusts the size of the dots that make up the scene. If
  27.                      it draws too slowly, try adjusting the dot size.
  28.  Interlaced        - Creates a 'tie dye' effect.
  29.  
  30.  Narrow Lines      - Gives it a silky look.
  31.  
  32.  Vary Colors       - Controls whether the colors vary with time.
  33.  
  34.  Speed             - Controls the speed of the waves.
  35.  
  36.  Screen Changes every ??? minutes - Controls how often the screen updates.

  38. MANUAL INSTALLATION
  39.  
  40.  To install Mesmerize screen saver manually, simply copy mez.scr, 
  41. m_readme.txt, register.txt and order.frm to your windows subdirectory.
  42. To set it up, see 'Configuring Mesmerize screen saver' above.
